2. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

3. Hosting & Infrastructure

We host our website with the following provider:

Netcup GmbH (Germany): Our application and database are hosted on servers provided by Netcup in Nuremberg, Germany. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate interest in secure operation). We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Netcup.

Cloudflare (USA/Global): We use Cloudflare as a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and for DDoS protection. Data transfer to the US is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We only use strictly necessary technical cookies required for the website to function.

  • Session Cookies: Store your login status (if logged in) and are deleted upon logout.
  • Preferences: Store your language setting locally in your browser.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate interest in functionality).

Important: We do NOT use tracking pixels, marketing cookies, or social media fingerprinting tools.

5. Data Collection

Server Logs

Our host (Netcup) automatically logs request data (Browser, OS, Referrer, IP Address, Time) for security and error debugging. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
